HAVERHILL, Mass.—APEM Components has introduced its Superbright LED indicators, which the company says are well suited for applications that include industrial control panels, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, construction vehicles, trucks, buses, and marine instrument panels. Introduced in bright chrome, black chrome, and satin grey bezel finishes, APEM’s Q series superbright LED indicators are sunlight-readable indicators that reportedly provide 1,400 to 10,000 mcd of light and a life expectancy of 100,000 hours.
APEM’s superbright LED indicators are available in seven package sizes (6, 8, 12, 14, 16, and 19 mm) and in three bezel styles (prominent, recessed, and flush). They are also available in five LED colors—red, green, yellow, blue, and white, as well as bicolor, tricolor, and flashing LEDs. APEM’s superbright indicators can be supplied with solder lug/quick-connect terminals, PC pins, or 200 mm wires. Integral resistors are included, permitting direct circuit connections. The Q series LED indicators are available with panel sealing to IP67, custom engraving, and plastic bezels in 16 and 22 mm sizes.
